Refund policy
COSTS, ADMISSION AND ENTRY //
Booking Fees & Costs: As HOT Mess utilise a range of ticketing platforms, costs for purchase vary from venue to venue. You are responsible to cover any booking, credit card processing, handling or other fees associated with the relevant payment platform.
All tickets sold via hotmesstour.nz incur a $3 booking fee per order - as per Shopify regulations, your consent is required in order for this to be added to the cart.
Valid Ticket Required: Attendance at Auckland, Christchurch and Hamilton events requires evidence of a valid purchased ticket from the relevant ticketing agent. For all other shows (where your tickets have been purchased on the Hot Mess website), please simply bring the full name of the ticket holder and order # be checked off a list at the door.
Right to Refuse Admission: Venue management and event organisers reserve the right to refuse admission to anyone, even with a ticket, for reasons including disruptive behaviour or security concerns.
Security Searches: Attendees may be subject to security searches upon entering the venue.
TICKET EXCHANGES & REFUNDS //
If you are unable to attend Hot Mess, you can transfer your ticket to someone else or send someone in your place. All seating is GA, first come, first served.
If you cannot transfer your ticket, you can also request a refund, as long as you provide more than 48 hours notice from the event start time - this allows us time to resell your ticket, especially if the event is sold out. If you give us notice within 48 hours of the start time, then unfortunately your ticket is non-refundable.
If a refund is approved, your refund will be provided in full less a $5 refund fee per ticket, and you’ll be automatically refunded using your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your refund, please contact us at management@hotmesstour.nz
Rescheduled/Cancelled Events:
In the event of a cancellation or rescheduling, ticket holders may be offered a refund or the option to transfer their ticket to the new date, but this is not always guaranteed.
